What are the summer review challenge calendars?
These calendars provide one musical challenge for each day of the summer. These challenges are designed to be completed in approximately 5-10 minutes and include activities like listening to a piece of music, playing a song by ear, performing a piece for a friend, improvising a piece of music, and much more!
How can these calendars be used?
The activities included in these calendars are designed to be flexible enough that they can be used with students of all ages and skill levels. Each month has a different set of review challenges, so you can use just one month or all three if you like! Use these as supplemental activities for students doing summer lessons, or assign them to students who are taking a break for the summer. These would also be great for a studio-wide incentive program, with students earning prizes based on the number of review challenges they successfully complete.
