 Did you know that Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born on this day in 1756 in Salzburg, Austria? Sadly, Mozart only lived 35 short years. However, his contributions to the world of classical music will live on forever! Today I am sharing a few free resources in honor of Mozart's special day.

Many happy returns, Mozart!  I am often asked how I got started publishing my music. How does the publishing process work? What options are available today for composers looking to get started in the publishing industry?
The landscape of music publishing has changed greatly in the last ten years. There are more options than ever for composers to publish and market their music, either on their own or with the help of an established company. So today, I am sharing a quick “Music Publishing 101” that will give you some insight into what your options are if you (or your students) are looking to publish sheet music of your own original compositions.
