It can be challenging to find an assortment of familiar seasonal pieces for my younger students. No one really wants to hear "Jingle Bells" five times in a row at the recital, right?
So, today I am sharing an elementary-level arrangement of a holiday classic: "Russian Dance" from Tchaikovsky's ballet "The Nutcracker!" This is a fun, non-denominational, seasonally appropriate piece--and a great way to introduce your younger students to a famous composer, too.

What are your favorite lesser-played holiday pieces? I'd love to hear your suggestions in the comments!
