From pop favorites, to unique medleys, to jazzed-up classics--these are 10 arrangements that I still reach for when I want something to play for my own enjoyment. Some Christmas songs are so iconic that they are intimidating to arrange--and this was one of those for me. However, I feel like I was able to create a version that stayed true to the original but provided enough special moments to make it a performance-worthy option.

I love the works of Erik Satie, so I had to find a way to make his famous "Gymnopedie No. 1" work for Christmas. Turns out that it dovetails perfectly with the beloved carol "Away in a Manger."

This is my attempt to elevate the classic children's song "Up on the Housetop" into something a bit more sophisticated. I'm really pleased with how this jazzy version turned out, and if you listen closely you might hear a hint of Gershwin in there!

"O Come, O Come Emmanuel" is another favorite carol of mine, and this was my attempt to give this traditional song a more contemporary feel. I am happy with how it came together!
