I love incorporating active listening into lessons. It is a great way to introduce your students to new composers, as well as to help them to develop their listening skills!

Today I am sharing 8 short (5 minutes or less) summer-themed active listening pieces that you can use with your students this season! Whether you listen to these together in lessons or assign these as summer projects, these 8 pieces will introduce your students to a variety of musical styles by composers and performers from diverse backgrounds.
