10 Seasonal Favorites That Aren't Christmas Songs!

Do you have students who don’t celebrate Christmas, or those who prefer to play non-religious music? Or, perhaps you are looking for repertoire for a winter recital after the holidays are over? 

If so, then today’s post is for you! Today I am sharing 10 beloved pieces that are perfect for the winter season but don’t mention a specific religious holiday. Even better--each piece is available for multiple levels to make it easy to find an option for every student in your studio!

1. Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy
Always a student favorite, this beloved piece is perfect for the holiday season without being specific to Christmas.

2. Walking in the Air
This lovely song from "The Snowman" is a favorite with students who enjoy lyrical pieces.

Vince Guaraldi's iconic soundtrack from "A Charlie Brown Christmas" has become synonymous with the holiday season. "Skating" is a fun piece that evokes the magic of winter.
